The poor Young Girl just wanted so much to go to the Opera to listen to a wonderful singer. Her greatest wish was that one day she might go and play a musical instrument like the Recorder or Violin or the Piano or even a Trumpet, but no, she was stuck in the forest with her Aunt who thought music was yuck.
When she was 9 years old her Aunt made her the biggest cake you have ever seen, and it was decorated with French Horns, Drums, Violas and Cymbals, the Young Girl was so happy she danced with joy, and went running outside to tell the Good Fairy of the woods all about it. Now that you are 9 said the Good Fairy you may have a wish, so think hard what you would like and it will come true.
The Young Girl thought hard and decided that she would like to go to the big city to learn music, done, said the Good Fairy. The next morning a letter arrived from her Aunt’s brother who invited the Young Girl to come to his home in the city. So off she went. Her Uncle was a conductor for the Middle Earth Symphony Orchestra. He took her to a show, she listened to the Recorders, and the Violas, the Drums, the Trumpets, Violins, Cymbals, French Horns, the Piano and then the Opera singer sang a beautiful song. It was the best night of her life. When they got home her Aunt was there! and said that even though she did not like music, she would live with the Young Girl and her brother even to try to learn to like music. The Young Girl called out a thank you to the Good Fairy who had made it all possible and then went with her Aunt and Uncle to listen to the Symphony Orchestra !!!

The Story:
Once upon a time some BROWNIES from New Zealand went on a trip to visit the four World Centres. First the BROWNIES packed their suitcases and travelled to Nelson Airport, where the plane was waiting to take them to the World Centre in London ENGLAND . It was a very long trip so the Brownies slept on the plane. When they got to the World centre called PAX LODGE, they went into a lovely building past the souvenir shop and into their room. After a little rest the BROWNIES headed off to see the sights of rainy London.

They saw many things that Lord and Lady BP might have been familiar with. The next day the New Zealand Brownies packed and took a plane to SWITZERLAND where they had to walk part of the way up to the original world centre called OUR CHALET. The Swiss mountains were very beautiful with their coat of fresh snow.

After several days of snow shoeing in the clean mountain snow the BROWNIES were ready to pack their suitcases and take the plane to INDIA. It was a long trip. The hot sunny weather was perfect for the train trip to the world centre called SANGAM. Inside SANGAM'S walls the BROWNIES swam in the pool with other Brownies from around the World. After several days in INDIA, the BROWNIES packed their suitcases and took the plane to MEXICO. The New Zealand BROWNIES got on a bus to go to OUR CABANA. On the way the BROWNIES stopped to see some ancient Aztec pyramids. Their Leader said the BROWNIES could climb to the top. They had great fun racing their Leader up the steep narrow steps.

Then the BROWNIES packed themselves back into the bus and before they knew it they had arrived at OUR CABANA. While at OUR CABANA the BROWNIES had great fun meeting BROWNIES from MEXICO, SWITZERLAND, INDIA and ENGLAND and other parts of the world. Before the BROWNIES knew it, it was time to pack their bags and take the plane home to New Zealand with many fond memories of the Four World Centres: Sangam, Our Chalet, Pax Lodge and Our Cabana.
